You can delete your You+Love account in the app at any time. Deleting is permanent: your account can’t be restored, and signing up again starts a new account. Deleting the app from your phone doesn’t delete your account.
Delete your account in the app
- Open You+Love and go to Settings, then My Account.
- Tap Delete account and review what deletion means.
- Tap Continue to final confirmation, then Delete account.
Changed your mind? Tap Keep account instead, and nothing changes.
Your membership and payments
- Your membership and auto-renew stop right away. The rest of the month isn’t refunded.
- Credits on your account can’t be used after it’s deleted.
- If something goes wrong while your account is being deleted, nothing is deleted, and you can try again.
What’s removed
- Your profile: your photos, your prompts, and every detail you added
- Your likes and passes
- Your open times in My Calendar, and your requests for times
- Your matches end, and booked calls and dates are canceled
- Your phone number is erased and your email address is replaced, so neither can be used to sign in
- You’re signed out on every device, and notifications stop
What we keep, and why
We keep a few records for safety, billing, and legal reasons. They’re never used to show your profile, and other members can’t find you.
- Messages you sent to your matches
- Whether your ID check passed, and when (the selfie and ID photo themselves are deleted)
- Reports and blocks, made by you or about you, and your answers after calls
- Records of your event registrations, calls, payments, and credits
- Messages you sent to support
- The places you saved for finding events
- Records of how the app was used
- An encrypted copy of your phone number and email address, with a few account details (no photos or messages), kept for 24 months to help stop fraud and people coming back after being removed
We keep these records only as long as we need them for those reasons, and then delete them. How long we keep each kind of record will be listed here before launch. To be confirmed
If you can’t sign in
Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with. We’ll confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.

- Need a break? Pause your profile instead. You’re hidden from new people in Discover, and your matches, plans, and membership stay as they are.
